Jose Lima is a 25-year marketing veteran, specializing in strategic media campaigns at the national and international level for arts & culture, luxury brands, entertainment accounts, travel & tourism, cause-related marketing, and events. He majored in Music Performance at both Miami Dade College and the University of Miami School of Music, and Public Relations/Journalism at Florida International University. Lima began his career in communications as a journalist, reporting about the entertainment, film and television industries.

Lima helped to lead international public relations campaigns at the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau for a decade, during the renaissance of South Beach and its boutique hotels, night clubs and restaurants. He promoted the Miami destination to editors, travel writers, television producers and digital journalists from around the world.

He has directed global marketing missions to New York, Los Angeles, throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America for Miami's best-known, signature hotel brands and spearheaded new marketing strategies for the destination (including the emergence of South Beach's boutique hotels, new fashion, arts and culture and LGBT promotions). Lima has worked extensively in-market in Madrid, Paris, Milan, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile.

Lima served as Vice President of Lifestyle and Tourism for one of the world’s top agencies, Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, where he directed campaigns for UPS (for all of Latin America); Carlson Hotels Worldwide; the Cancun Convention & Visitors' Bureau and the Riviera Maya Tourism Bureau; Hertz Car Rental for all of Latin America; and the Negril Jamaica Tourism Board. He has been tapped as a senior-level expert to create campaigns during Art Basel Miami Beach, including the David Castillo Gallery and ArtCenter/South Florida.

As an account leader at previous agencies, he was tapped to direct campaigns for Fisher Island Resort & Spa, The Conrad Miami Hotel, JW Marriott, The Mayfair Hotel & Spa Miami, and Coca-Cola, and promoted celebrity events including Celia Cruz, the Miami Heat's LeBron James, Jacqueline Bracamontes and Cristián de la Fuente, and the author/celebrity David Leddick.

Jose Lima and Bill Spring have promoted the work of major artists, including Xu Bing, Wang Qingsong, Rafael Soriano, Lan Zhenghui, and many others.

Lima and Spring have created successful campaigns for the Frost Art Museum FIU, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, FUNDarte, Global Cuba Fest, Karen Peterson Dancers, and Out in the Tropics. He served as Associate Director of Media Relations for the White House Summit of the Americas; Media Director for Miami's Centennial Celebrations; on the media advisory committee for La Cumbre de Turismo; and on the American Express Marketing Steering Committee for the Miami Arts and Business Council.

Bill Spring is a writer, an editor and a communications strategist specializing in promoting events, artists, and cultural groups, focusing on the visual arts. He is also a concert pianist and a playwright.

He is recognized for bringing to the forefront his unique mix of personal experiences with top New York and Miami gallerists, internationally renowned artists, museums, and art critics to create impactful campaigns that deliver results at a deeper, more meaningful level.

Spring received his B.A. at Emory University in English and Theatre Arts. He served on the Public Affairs team of the Miami Art Museum (now PAMM), during its transition to becoming the signature art collecting institution of Miami. At MAM, Spring initiated innovative programming and created special events for the museum’s exhibitions, including cutting-edge promotions and events featuring musicians and contemporary artists.

Spring's work promoting performances, projects and events for artists and celebrities includes: Jack Pierson, Roberto Juarez, Taylor Mac, Carmelita Tropicana, Sean Dorsey Dance, Gema Corredera, John Kelly, Syd Straw of the Golden Palominos, David Leddick, and many more.

His project work with New York arts organizations includes: the Robert Miller Gallery, El Museo del Barrio, and HERE Arts Center. Spring’s event and production credits include serving as Managing Director of Close Encounters with Music, a classical music troupe that toured Florida and throughout the northeast United States.

As a journalist, he served as a cultural reporter and theater critic for Antenna and for The Wire newspapers (publications pivotal to South Beach’s renaissance as an arts destination in the late 1980s and early 1990s).

Spring has successfully promoted events during Art Basel Miami Beach, exhibitions, opening receptions and panel discussions at ArtCenter/South Florida, Karen Peterson Dancers, FUNDarte’s annual “Out in the Tropics” festival in Miami Beach, and the U.S. premiere of the Cuban theater group Teatro El Público.

His extensive experience promoting museums and the visual arts includes: the David Castillo Gallery, the Frost Art Museum FIU, the Boca Raton Museum of Art, and the Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU.
